    winter tires
  • (Winter tire) A tire with a deep tread suitable for winter conditions

  • A tire (in American English) or tyre (in British English) is a ring-shaped covering that fits around a wheel rim to protect it and enable better vehicle performance by providing a flexible cushion that absorbs shock while keeping the wheel in close contact with the ground.

  • This type of tire is suitable for snow and ice covered roads. The tread pattern features a heavily siped, fine-block design with grooves that are deep and wide, providing excellent driving traction and braking performance on winter road surfaces.

  • A road vehicle, typically with four wheels, powered by an internal combustion engine and able to carry a small number of people

  • A vehicle that runs on rails, esp. a railroad car

  • A railroad car of a specified kind

  • a motor vehicle with four wheels; usually propelled by an internal combustion engine; "he needs a car to get to work"

  • a wheeled vehicle adapted to the rails of railroad; "three cars had jumped the rails"

  • the compartment that is suspended from an airship and that carries personnel and the cargo and the power plant

Michelin winter tyre

Michelin winter tyre

I drove around in a BMW with these winter tyres. Pretty useless if you ask me, no grip, the car slides in corners, even less performance than my Mercedes on summer tyres (also Michelin). I tried to make an u-turn on a snowy road, but the car didn't want to go backwards.
